Orchard Room

A tall-ceilinged room on the ground floor that opens straight into the apple orchard — in late September you can pick fruit from the doorway. One double bed and one single, so it takes a couple with a child comfortably. High sash windows on two sides make it the brightest room in the manor, and the coolest one in summer. In blossom season — roughly the second and third weeks of April — this is the room to ask for.
